The Young at Heart Group is for seniors over the age of 50. It is an opportunity to come together for fellowship, meetings and short trips or outings to many interesting places in the metropolitan area. Monthly meetings are on the third Friday of each month from September through May. On the odd number months, a get-together is held at 12 noon in Fellowship Hall with a guest speaker or special program on topics of interest to our age group. This meeting can be a potluck type lunch, pizza, brown bag or other.

On the alternate (even) months, we travel to an event or place as a group and enjoy the day together followed with lunch at a special restaurant. We have been so many places over the past six years and invite you to join us for a day of fun and fellowship. It is an opportunity to get to know each other and form lasting relationships, as well as enjoy places that you may never have the chance to visit on your own.

We currently sponsor a project First Step Back Home for the homeless in our area. Each season we choose a worthy project in which to participate or contribute. Questions regarding our Young at Heart grou can be directed to Anita Peetz at 561-3645.
